In IE the temp Internet files are stored in a folder where they are used later. It is helps to speed up you browsing experience. But after some time the file can get way too large and actually slow down your browsing experience. So it is in your best interest to clear out ALL your temp files about once a month.

Here is a handy little tip for all users, you can have IE clear the Temp Internet File Folder everytime you shut IE down (close out). This is handy if you pick up something unwanted it will delete it as soon as you close out of IE.

In Internet Explorer, Go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced (tab) scroll down to Security and Tick "Empty Temporary Internet File Folder when Browser is Closed".

    Now a little safer.
