online play with r4 and original game

    Hi,

    I have a DS with R4 New super mario bros rom
    and my girlfriend has a DS with the original new super mario bros card

    when we try the download play it works fine..

    but when we choose the option "play with a player who has the game"
    and then I create a group, it doesn't show on her DS when she clicks on join group..

    any ideas what's wrong. My new super mario bros rom is 32mbs..

    did i miss something?

    possibly the rom is from a different region to your gf's. i.e. if your gf has US copy then make sure you have US rom etc.

    Just a guess but u never know.

    she bought her game in canada...

    i downloaded mine and it's U.S i am pretty sure...

    yap my bad. I had the Euro ROM.

    thanks. i had no idea.

    also spent hours searching google and on these forums..

    hope it helps somebody who's experiencing the same ;)
