Here's the thing. My mom bought herself a 60GB video iPod and to transfer stuff onto it, I installed iTunes in my pc, bad idea: iPod has some annoying ipodservice.exe and ituneshelper.exe that suck up your memory and bother you being open all the time. Obviously I cannot stand this, and I'm even considering uninstalling the whole thing just to get rid of the darn processes. Is there a way to recognize the iPod through the itunes, without needing to have the ituneshelper.exe and ipodservice.exe starting up when my computer starts?
    Thanks
