can anyone think of an open source port scanner with the ability to scan a range of IPs...and can you please tell me what language it was written in? what i am trrying to do is scan 2 IP's and i wanted to embed a code or script that will allow the scanner to be updated if a port is suddenly opend or closed....and it is for my work (i am a security offical at a medical production building specializing in staples, pins and other items that are metal that are used in medical clinics and hospitals thank you
