    Hi guys,

Just wondering what the difference between the openbox s9Hd and blade 7000hd is? Most people seem to rate blade as best box and there is big price difference.

    Thanks

the blade is hd like the openbox but i would say its a higher quality box but its still considered a budget box .the thing i always say about choosing a box is to choose a well supported box . dreambox for me is the best ,openbox and blade or growing well support wise .

hi mate sorry your on the wrong thread ,also i havent got a tutorial for a spider box .the spider box does not seem to be supported at all well so you might consider another box such as the dreambox dm500s /the blade media bm7000 /or the openbox as the support is so much better . if you want a server i recommend a dreambox ,the spiderbox is poorly supported . i can help you with dreambox no bother .

all i know is that the openbox has a poor write up check out google.i have never used one so cannot comment through experience. the blade has great write up and i can comment on them fab boxes, picture quality is wonderful and easy to set up no messin around and has 3d and true 1080p hd.i thing i would say is the blade unnoficial firmware takes a couple of months to come out from the offical firmware but thats no big deal as they still work.

the problem with non sky boxes is they are not sky boxes and never will be ,so your never going to get a box exactly like and with all functions of a sky plus box . i would think the nearest you would get to a sky plus box is the vu+ duo ,it has two tuners so you can record a program whilw watching another ,its a quality box and as such the price is anywhere from €400 plus .
