Hey guys, Im so confused I have received a RAR file and Im am struggling to open it... I have got Winrar ... it keeps asking for the password and I keep getting an incorrect password message I have reinstalled the program 4 times now and set the password (well I thought I had)... All I want to do it open this file... I need some suggestions or other programs to use that are easy and I would LOVE a simple explanation on what to do lol... Thanks Amy
Well the simplest explanation is type in the correct password. The rar file you have is password protected. Reinstalling WinRAR or using another program won't help - same deal to extract it your need the password. Go back to wherever/whoever you got the file from and get the password.
