Guys, I'm looking for opinions on the Hitachi DV-RX7000E DVD recorder. I have searched the web but can find nothing on this machine and am hoping it is because it is only fairly new on the market (August this year). If nobody has any information on this recorder do you know anything about Hitachi recorders in general? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I decided to carry out some extensive tests last night and I'm afraid that the results were VERY disappointing. I went through all the record modes and the quality of this machine was the worst that I have ever experienced, I'd almost go as far to say that my VCR would have done better from a digital source as my NTL box. I have returned the machine to Argos and am waiting on new stock of the Panasonic to come in (3 weeks I'm told).
