Get a Pioneer DVR105, its the big daddy of DVD Writers. The optorite has had a few good reviews, but i wouldnt buy froma company that just started makeing them 2 years ago. I think they are re-badged sanyos or something anyway!

I would have to disagree with Oriphus. I would put my Optorite up against a Pioneer DVR105 anyday. I know I got it beat on price! For the low price that Optorite sales for these days, you cannot go wrong with this drive!

I purchased the Optorite DD0203 2 weeks ago, simple to install seems to work fine. The only complaint I have is the eject button is a little stiff.

I have to admit to being a DVD newbie though !

    Cheers
