Original disc could not be found or authenticated

    This is driving me crazy. Made a perfect copy, was able to install the game (Civilization 3) but get this message and it refuses to start. What am I doing wrong or missing here???

    It can't be a "perfect copy", then, can it?. Games makers put stuff on pressed disks that cannot be duplicated, so that pirate copies (like yours) won't work.
