Hey guys...I am new to all this and your tips have been helpful but by the sounds of it all these xboxs are modded either by a chip of softmod...I have an old xbox with a dashboard of 4920 and nothing has been touched on it...It has music on it and I want to extract that off and put software on.
Can I do it as it is?
Do i need to put a mod chip in....if so where can i get one in Australia?
Can I get away with softmod and what softmod would be good...I have modded the controller to work on PC and i can put a USB flash drive onto the controller lead too...
I want to be able to LAN the Xbox to PC. will what don_omar said in forum http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/190074 work on my xbox....
    Any information would be good

    Thankyou

If you're looking for a quick and dirty solution to your problem. Then a Softmod would turn the trick. If you were are (intending) going to continue useing your XBOX™ and you should just get a Chip. As then you can continue to use your XBOX™ with as much abandon as before. Softmods on the otherhand need to not only be kept clean! but, also will need a lot of Hand holding! before it turns into a nasty case of 'Error 21' or worse!

The only Three Games I know of that will eventually load up EvoX as a Linux Hack are:

    007 Agent Under Fire
    MechAssult
and the First Splinter Cell Game.

If you can find an XBOX™ to USB converter. You can use a normal USB Stick to transfer the Raincoat Image for which ever Game. Or you'll have to buy an Action Replay to copy said Image onto a Memory Card. While it's possible to Hotsawp a running Drive (you have to boot the XBOX™ to unlock the Drive!) to the PC (by swaping the IDE Cord), I do not recomend it. As I have damaged the original HDD in that way! Probably the best thing that ever hapend to me! As it forced me to purchase a ModChip! I've been happy ever since!
