I have Nero 6 ultra edition and im just wondering if theres anyway to back up my windows xp pro. I am able to copy the files, but the cd is not bootable when i restart the computer. Is there an option i have to change in Nero, and what type of complication would it be considered in Nero?

    thanks

When you say you have backed up XP, is that from your HD (installed onto your PC) or from the original XP install disc?

From the original windows xp cd. I can copy the files fine, but the cd is not bottable at startup. I wanna know how to make it bootable during startup.

I know these are simple ideas that you've probably already thought of but I'm posting them in case you haven't or somebody else needs to be reminded or know these steps.

    Check 2 things:
    1. Your pc start-up is set to boot from your CD/DVD drive, if not make it so.
    2. It's my experience that the autorun file on the software disk is what makes the CD program installation start up. Make sure you copied that file.

Hope this helps, post back and let us know.

    Mike
