Unable to restore outlook.ost file size of about 15 GB consequence of using scanpst.exe and pst2gb.

Scanpst on the eighth stage of checking an error "The test was aborted because or error, the file was not changed"

Pst2gb at the opening of the file produces an error 52

OST files are created from downloading from the mailbox. PST files are stored.

You may apply guide below or helpful resources, but only in case the guide isn't able to help you

    https://www.openfiletool.com/ostopen.html OST Open File Tool
    http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/172/t/262547.aspx
    https://social.technet.microsoft.co...d5e49bd2f/how-to-open-ost-files?forum=outlook

    Outlook 2007

    1. Locate the .ost file.

    i. From the Tools menu, click Account Settings.
ii. From the "Account Settings" window, click the Data Files tab.
iii. Click the data file labeled as "Default."
    iv. Click Open Folder....

    2. Rename the .ost file by right clicking on the file and selecting Rename.

    - We suggest rename the file to ost.old.

    3. Press Enter on your keyboard.
    4. Open Outlook. Outlook should start to configure a new data file.

    - This process can take anywhere from 10-60 minutes depending on your mailbox size.

Watch out - While the new data file is being configured make sure you don't open SFO or close Outlook.

When your mailbox has been rebuilt you'll see the message, "All folder are up to date" in the lower right hand corner.

Who told you that scanpst.exe should be used for corrupt OST file? The scanpst.exe utility is good for PST files. To scan OST files, you should try the Integrity check tool aka scanost.exe. Instead of wasting your time on running scanpst.exe, you should try scanost.exe. You must read the blog post shared below to know how to use scanost.exe to repair OST file:

Use SCANOST.EXE (Integrity Check tool) to Repair OST File | N. Sem's Blog

Hope this blog post would be helpful for you.

    Thanks and best regards.
