i was reformating my pc, and i made a mistake. My hard disk is 120 GB and and i made 2 partitions C: & D: but the problem is that i gave 1Gb for C: and 119 GB for d: by a mistake now how can i transfer GBs from C: to D: without loosing my data
you can try qtparted its usually on linux live cds, I never repartition my discs I use two seperate 120gb hard drives instead but I have heard there are repartitioning softwares that can handle changing the sizes without having to refromat and reinstall. I would back up everthing before starting anything you can try majorgeeks.com they have a good list of multi-use freeware with user reviews maybe you can get a trial version of partition magic I have heard very good things about that software.
