I have a few files that play in Sync when in Xvid format but who go out of sync after I convert them to Divx using ImToo converter. When I tried to use Auto GK it said "unsupported audio type" Can someone suggest any other software that will do the job? My DVD player requires Divx.

    Thanks

Before converting the files, try the 4cc changer.
XviD and DivX are interchangeable, this lets the player read the information it wants to see.

Open the file and use 4cc to change the file information from XviD to DivX.
    Type DIVX in both boxes.
(you can try it on a copy of the file first)

    Thanks for your reply.

I used the 4CC changer and the sync on my computer was fine but my Sony DVD player refused to play the files. Any other suggestions?

Drag the original (good) file and check to see if the audio is VBR or CBR.

This file has MP3 variable bit rate VBR (lower left) under 'Audio'.
If so, it may be that the converter has problems converting it properly.

I can't see any VBR or CBR but I must admit I find G Spot confusing. Are their any other programs that I can try? or should I just give up on these four files.\?

    Thanks again for you interest.
