    well here is the story...

i have 2 computers that im trying to convert into one good one

    computer 1:
    intel celeron 330 2.66ghz
    768mb of ram
    250gb hard drive
    dvd burner
    sound card
    pci ethernet port

    computer 2:
    intel pentium 4 2.60ghz
    2gb of ram
    80gb hard drive
    light scribe dvd burner
    sound card
    video card

    both motherboards have problems
computer 1's mother board the on board ethernet plug is broken so i bought a realtek port and it works find now

computer 2's mother boards second ide cable slot will NOT find any devices, iv tried changing devices many times, i also tried 4 different IDE cables and it till wont work

now what i need help with is what out of those parts are the best

so far this is the set up im building building out of those parts

    2gb of ram
    250gb harddrive
    light scribe dvd burner
    video card
    sound card
    pci ethernet port

but i dont know which cpu will be faster
they are both pretty close for ghz but is the celeron 330 or the pentium 4 faster?

both computer are going to be sold on ebay one they are finished but i want to make one out of the best parts then the other out of the remains i have laying around so i can buy better parts to start making a better computer

The Celeron is a pig, and I wouldn't waste my time trying to make one good computer out of the two you have. You aren't going to get more than $50, on eBay, for whatever malfuncitoning computer you come up with.
