So lately I have started reading some Manga (Japanese-style "Graphic Novels") and decided to start my own collection. I was looking around at my local Borders and saw "The Outcast, volume 1" which looked (and is) pretty exciting. However, sadly enough, its been almost a year since volume 1 came out and the publishers don't have a release date for volume 2. This makes me very sad as I enjoyed volume 1 but it leaves (obviously being the first book) a lot of unanswered questions and a decent-sized cliffhanger right at the end! Anyway, I am just kind of ranting in semi-sadness that Volume 2 probably won't come out soon. Oh well, I have other series that belong to my friends to keep me entertained when needed. Just wondering how many of you read Manga?
If it was from Japan, I would say Ebay. However, this particular Manga is not Japanese in origin, so we Americans will actually get it first (if it is ever released). Welcome to the world of poor distribution and late deadlines that is Manga/Anime.
Indeed, my friend said Ragnarok (or something like that) got to volume 10 in English and just stopped completely. They made 20 somewhat volumes in Japanese and even said the 11th was going to come out but it never did. I enjoy reading Manga on my spare time between classes at school and occasionally at home.
