    hey all,

lately when i receive an email it states it was received three hours before it actually was, such example would be outlook says i received it at 4:00PM when it was really delivered at 7:00PM. i tried going through the options to look for a time zone or something, but i couldn't find anything. if anyone could help me on this issue, i would greatly appreciate it.
    thanks in advance.

I don't have Outlook 2007 on this computer, but for Outlook 2003 you go to Tools from the File Menu. Next choose Options and from the Preference Tab choose Calendar Options. From there, you'll find a button called Time Zone at the bottom right. When I get home, I'll check to see if it's the same for Outlook 2007.

I have outlook 2006 and do not see a time zone seting in preferences, tools or anywhere. Do you have a time zone setting from your ISP provider ? I think the mail is time stamped with them - like I use roadrunner and I beleive I can set my time zone with them.
    Hope this is some help

ill check what silk said when i get out of work. and i dont know about the ISP thing bc the internet is through my college. but if i use our college mail system, the time stamps are correct, so i think its something with outlook.

    EDIT

found the time zone option. now to see if it works.

    EDIT

    it worked.
    thanks to all

Good to hear. I was able to verify that it's the same in Outlook 2007, but you obviously figured that out.
