    Hey guys,

I come humbly asking for help again. :)

    Here is my new problem.

My laptop HD died awhile ago, and my desktop is old and on it's last leg (really really slow). So I decided to revive the laptop with a new HD and put the desktop to sleep and just use my laptop as my main computer.

Replaced the HD, updated drivers etc. No problems.

I have the new Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (a huge upgrade from my old Office 2000).

What I want to do is move all my emails and contacts from my desktop (office 2000) to my laptop (Office 2010) but I am having a heck of a time.

I have the Office 2000 pst files (2 different ones, one is an archive and the other is just regular?) on my laptop. I tried to rename the pst file so Outlook 2010 could see it. Got the emails into Outlook 2010, but then got an error and couldn't send or recieve emails.

So, I renamed the original pst file, and re-renamed the old pst file and now I can send/recieve fine but can't see my old emails.

I am guessing I am missing something simple? So I am just looking for some help here. Mind you I am not the most technically savy person so please be gentle if you offer up suggestions. :)

Thanks for the help as always.
