Problem: I've been experiencing problems with overburning on Nero 6 Ultra Edition. Any file that exceeds 690MB is deemed too large to fit on a 80 min CD. Which is absolutely ridiculous. I've already tinkered with the preference settings with enabling overburning, and all the timeline markers, and yet they all don't do a damned thing. Anyone have any suggestions?? -Alan
When trying to use 700/800/900mb media with nero there are some points to consider (1) both nero 6.0.0.15 and 5.5.10.50 have been confirmed to have issues that do not let them overburn regardless of media and regardless of settings. You can download the respective fixes at ftp://ftp6.nero.com/support_doc/nero60015issue5203patch.exe and ftp://ftp6.nero.com/support_doc/nero551050issue5203patch.exe. (2) the ability to use 800/900 mb media is dependent on the burner you have: some burners like them, some dont. (3) provided you got this far visit http://www.hazza.dsl.pipex.com/faq.htm#OVERBURN for a brief guide and burn as per usual. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7N8X-X, XP2500+ OC'd to XP3200+ Samsung 1024MB, PC2700 OC'd to PC3200 480GB [3x160GB, 7200, 8MB] EVGA, GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB Rules and Policies: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2487[/small]
