when I start my computer, the bios report (system failed as a cpu is overclocking) what can I do to fix it I tried to change the cpu speed from the setup but I still have the problem. pls advice
Hi jenalyn, we need a lot more information than that. What are your system specs etc. Have you overclocked it yourself.

Mmmmmmm, nice system. What is the Fsb set to in the bios. As you know the 2800 barton runs at 333Fsb, assuming the multiplier is locked then it may be possible that your Fsb is running at 400 (200 in the bios) which is why it's overclocking. If it's not that then maybe your processor is an older one without the locked multiplier but the multiplier is set too high.
