oversized mpg-2 !!!!!!

    i just converted a 717Mb avi file to mpg-2 and it's now 5694Mb, does anyone know how i can scale this file down so i can burn to dvd?

    If you run this file through tmpeg dvd author you'll end up with a VIDEO_TS file the same size, then compress this file with DVD2One or DVD Shrink.
