Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. I used to be in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. Thus, some of the DVDs in my collection are NTSC, and some are PAL. However, my PAL DVD player no longer works, so I am working on converting all of my backups to NTSC. When I was in the Army, I needed to be able to move all of my belongings quickly and easily, so I didn't keep the cases. Most of the DVDs have the format printed on the disc, but some don't, or I'm not seeing it. Is there an app out there that can analyze the disc and tell me the format BEFORE I burn the disc, so that I can convert it without wasting a disc. If so, can you tell me how/direct me to the proper guide? Thanks in advance.
Assuming these are burned disks. Drag VTS_01_1.VOB onto GSpot and check the setting. http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip
