PAL to NTSC

    This may be a silly qestion, but I will give it a try anyway.

    I installed a copy of DVD X Copy platinum last night and tried to copy a region 5, PAL format DVD to a DVD-R. Everything was OK except I couldn't play it on my SONY DVD player. I think it's due to the PAL format. I wonder it's possible to convert the DVD format from PAL to NTSC by using DVD X Copy? Also, it took 1 1/2 hours to read the original DVD into the HD, Is this normal? Will the other software (DVD Decrypter, DVD shrink) be faster? Thank you for your help in advance.

    use the search message function at the top of the page and you will get a big list for PAL to NTSC
