Has anyone any success capturing PAL60 using the Pinnacle PCTV USB2 card?

I have tried loads of different suggestions with no luck

I would love to know if it is even possible

    Regards

It Probably isn"t Possible unless you buy one that specificly supports Pal60.....

If you can Congigure the Settings then all you have to do is set the Capture resolution to 720x576 but set the Frame Rate to 29.976fps because From what I understand of Pal60 is it uses the Pal Resolution but uses the NTSC Frame Rate .....

Pinnacle"s Consumer Line Capture Devices are Just awefull, Probably some of the worst that you can get so it is a Good Idea to stay away from them especially the USB ones......

Most Cheape Analogue Capture devices will let you Configure them to capture at Pal resolution with NTSC Frame Rates, even the Cards in the $25 Range.....

    Good luck

    Cheers Minion,
I will look into configuring settings using the pinnacle pctv viewer
Is there any other products tyhat make configuring the settings easier?

You are definitly correct about Pinnacle Support
I asked them is PAL60 possible
Replied that it is not possible.
    No suggestions, nothing.

    Cheers again
    Shaun
