    Hi
    Having bought the Panasonic NV-GS10B digital camcorder I was looking forward to connect it to my PC via a Nec OHCI 1394 Firewire card, but oops... nothing happened, PC does not recognise the camcorder,pci firewire card is installed properly, trying on my mates PC with a different Firewire card, same results. Capturing video through my Avermedia capture card in analogue , no problem. Need to transfer video digitally though. What is missing?? Help is greatly appreciated,thanks.

    Have tried NeroVision Express2, Windows Movie Maker2, Power Director, all to no avail. When I connect the camcorder via the Firewire cable, Pc does not find it, unlike when one connects a camera with usb. Am using Windows Xp.
