panasonic sr18 help

    I just got a new standard def camcorder. It seems to burn dvd's ok and they look fine on my SD tv. However they look awful on my computer screen. This is the 3rd camcorder I tried (sony and JVC) were the othter 2 and they all look bad on the computer screen. Is there any way to get decent output on the computer screen?

    Is there any way to improve how they look on the computer screen?

    How will they look on a 1080i tv same as on computer screen?

    would a high def camcorder give better on computer results?
