Here is my problem. I have a Panasonic SDR-H200 and I recorded a few videos in widescreen. What I Have to normally do is Convert the video files from .mod to .mpg using Panasonics Imagemixer 3 software. Now when I play the MPG file in VLC it looks like this. But when I play it in windows media player it looks like this all bunched up. The way VLC is playing it is the correct widescreen format. Now Anytime I try and convert this to DVD or even any other format it either comes out in 4:3 format and If i do 16:9 format NTSC it will play the video inside of a box. If anyone can please help me get this from .mpg to DVD format using the proper widescreen as show in VLC id really apprciate it, not the windows media player format where it is all bunched up.
