Hi, I just bought a pannasonic drm-e85h and i really like this dvr. I have comcast hd tv. There are 2 ways for me to watch my tv. I can watch it on video 1 which is just through my cable box and the picture is fine. But when i switch it to the dvr mode to enable recording the picture gets a big snowy. I have all top grade cable an all of them are connected tightly and correctly. I even tried using a signal booster to see if that was my problem and it wasnt. Does anyone have any idea of how i can fix this. Thanks in advace.
Exactly how do you have all your components hooked up? Something may not be hooked up properly. Typically, you want your cable box out to go to an IN of your recorder, then the OUT to your TV. Basically, the cable has to pass through the recorder to get to the TV. Raymond
