Password Protected Rars

    Hi, i am just wondering if there is a way to get around a .rar file that wont extract unless you have a password. i use winrar to extract.
    lately alot of downloads have been having these, and when you try to go to there websites, and follow there instruction to get the password you get stuck on long pop up journy. thanks for any help

    its all fake stuff to get you to register to their webbsite...like ebay for example

    yeah, but how do i extract the file, or dont i, just leave it and look for an another dl of it

    precisely - just take it on the chin that youve wasted time downloading and look for a better source.

    It seems most of these belong to warez etc....
