I remember that I need to do this somehow. I have made several .iso files, but the xbox says that they are "unknown". Any info would be great. Edit: Is there a special name that I need to give to the new iso?
you will need to make an Xiso using either Qwix or Craxtion 4 the xbox dosent read normal iso files....
I followed your advice and used craxtion 3.1 (I had trouble using v.4) to create the iso image but my box still says that it is "unknown". I know it can read backups because it can read one that I made a long time ago, but for some reason I cannot create a proper backup disc. I have used both alcohol 120% and nero to burn the images. This is extremely frustrating and any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for answering my thread even though there are probably dozens of threads like it Hmmm, I just made a dvd backup and it works fine in both my comp and my dvd player. But when I stick it my box, it says its unknown. I am using a Sony DVD+R for all of my backups. Could the problem be that my box has trouble reading +R's?
