pavilion m1180 media suite drive 630c

    please can anybody help me i cannot seem to burn cds on this drive
    although my systems states this drive is working properly, when I put cr r in the drive it does not recongise the cd is in their. I keep getting asked to insert a cd r or rw disc in the drive, but its already their

    does it see regular cd's?? any error codes or exclamation marks in device manager??

    regular cd are fine just does not recongise cd in drive when trying to burn keeps asking me to insert a blank cd their are no error messages and their are no explantion marks in device manager
