Hello, does anyone know of any good(and possibly free) Burn-in Diagnostic software? I build computers for people and would like to use some professional software to test the funcionalty of the PC. One requirement is that it is able to run in DOS mode because it will most often be run on PC's that dont have an OS installed. Thank you.
You might try something like this: http://www.pc-diagnostics.com/pc_diagnostics_tools/pc_certify_burn_in.shtml Basic Configuration Report Rugged System Diagnostic Tests Exacting System Benchmark Tests Basic Utilities Robust Context-Sensitive Help Lifetime Free Technical Support Performance Guarantee Easy to Use Menu System Self-Boot & DOS Saves Time & Money Does cost $79.95 though for a single licence. Ive never used it so im not sure. I have run a few differnt Burn-in appz before but not in Dos. You might want to go to www.google.com and search for say Burn-In Software DOS Compatible or something similar. CJC
thank you I had already found the software you suggested doing a google search. I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with any.
Hey If you dont mind using hardware specific Diagnosis/Burn-in you can check out......... Memtest86-memory http://www.majorgeeks.com/download1247.html HD-Maxtor http://www.majorgeeks.com/download1386.html These are both very good and Seagate and WD has similar stuff. The rest of the components, are probably best tested with an O/S - a program like SANDRA.
