I'm trying to open the CD so that I can add the songs to my MP3 player, but neither of my PCs will read the disc. Does anyone have any advice?

Ok just looked at the album details on a website. At first I though it was copy protected but it says it is a dual disc which I think means there is data on both sides of the disc. As there is dvd footage on one of the sides I am assuming it is a dvd disc. But I maybe wrong as how are people supposed to play it on a normal hi fi system. It could also be a copy protection problem as well.

Try using a program called EAC. Download it from here

Search for it in this forum and there is a guide which will show you how to configure and setup. Reply if you still need help.

Have ago of Clone CD 5, ive thrown some troublesome music cds at it that EAC and WMP wouldnt rip. Worked a beaut, then just mounted the image and extract it that way, EAC much prefered.

My computer won't read the disc at all on either side. It just says no disc is inserted.

Just had the same problem with that same CD/DVD. My internal CD-RW, internal DVD-R and external DVD-RW wouldn't recognize the disk at all. Either side. Just got this mechanical clicking. It feels thicker & heavier than the typical CD or DVD. But my stereo CD player had no problem with it.

My Notebook PC's CD-RW however, played it w/o a problem.
