ok im not exactly sure where this would go so i put it in general stuff ok so here it is i know you can text from pc to a phone by using the @vtext.com thing or something like that but is there a program that can turn your computer to recieve txts by a number so like on my phone i enter in an accuall number not an email address a number and reviece them on my computer?
You can hook a phone up to the computer (usually via USB) and receive text messages. The other option I see is connecting a SIM-card to the PC (I think you can do that?) via some sort of modem.. Perhaps a 3G-modem can do this for you? Skype might also allow you to receive text messages, it does support sending them. I do not believe there is a free way of doing this (unless you already have the hardware I mentioned).
