I recently upgraded from Internet Security 2005 to the newer 2006 version of Pc-cillin Internet Security. My problem is when I go into multiplayer game server lists and try to update them they take FOREVER and the pings are over 3000 with PC-Cillin running in the background. When I completely close out of PC-Cillin there are no problems updating the server lists. I've tried forwarding all the ports through the built in firewall and my router and neither help when PC-Cillin is running. Wondering if anybody else had such problems and if you were able to fix it so you can update game lists while PC-Cillin continues to run in the background. Thanks. The games so far that I've tried are Battlefield 2 and Quake 4.
get rid of PC-Cillin and get something that actually works - PC Cillin is world renound for how much it sucks
Norton Internet Security 2006 also does that with game servers too.... just wanted to give a heads up before you buy a new one
