PC doesnt detect usb devices after a repair install of windows xp sp3?

    My computer doesnt dectect usb devices anymore after i did a repair install of windows xp sp3. I have an -Winfast motherboard
    -AMD processor
    Please help

    what a surprise.. google the motherboard chipset drivers .. the motherboard will have a big number on it.

    in white printing on the motherboard will read the make & model# of the motherboard such as asrock p4i65g or something like that. is your computer a dell, hp or something like that & if so then what is the make & model# of the computer? is there any unknown devices or exclamation marks in the device manager? is the usb ports enabled in the bios?

    get a copy of driver genius and it should fix the problem.
