First of all hello to everyone on this great forum! Couple weeks ago i tried to burn something with Nero to a DVD+RW and all i got was a message ''Insert empty disc'' first i thought that the disc im trying to write on is damaged but then i checked all of my DVD+RW's and all of them didn't work. Then i tried it on my second DVD burner and i got the same results. So i tried Nero, ImgBurn, DvdFab and no results, but the funny thing is CloneDVD2 can write on them??? I've updated burner's firmware, updated nero and nothing... This never happened before and i just don't know what to do???

your drives possibly don't support burning of discs of that format. perhaps you used to use dvd-rw discs instead of dvd+rw? they're two different formats and not all drives support both.

    dvd-rw
    dvd+rw

Thx for the reply daacekin but it doesn't help me much, i actualy know the difference between dvd-/+rw and my drives support both formats and that is the root of my problems cause i've burned stuff on dvd+rw many times and now this just isn't possible accept with CloneDVD2 and this program is only for burning img files and dvd files so that doesn't help me with burning other stuff.

are you sure the app actually burns or did you find it only burned images and that wasn't what you wanted so cancelled it?

Yes, CloneDVD can burn stuff on this discs, but now i have to make image files (let's say of some avi) and then burn it on dvd+rw. I repeat i've used this discs many, many times before so support of DVD-/+RW isn't the issue, when i use nero to check the discs properties it recognize's it as Phillips DVD+RW but the funny thing is then it says that the disc is not re-writable??? I tried to erease them and nothing. Everything was fine just weeks ago, i dont know what happened i didn't change anything...i have no clue
