    Hi,

I am using windows xp, 992mb ram.
My pc keeps crashing ramdomly. It reboots and tells me that my system just recovered from a serious error, and to send an error message. When I do, it tells me it is a device driver that is causing this problem.

I read somewhere that there is a virus or spyware, not sure which, that will cause your pc to do this. Is this true, and how can I get rid of it? I have latest Norton AV.

I am also wondering if the fact that my ram might be low is causing this as well. How can I verify that? What is the best way to figure out which device driver it is?

Also, when my computer reboots, sometimes windows doesn't start at all, and I have to stop it and restart it. My computer somtimes shows me the options to "restart using the last known working..."
and sometimes it just goes ahead by itself. It also never lets me go into safety mode. What am I doing wrong, is the safetly mode option turned off?

I hope someone will be able to help me out. Thanks in advance,

    Bayla
