PC movie files to Big Screen

    Is there a way to connect my PC to my big screen and watch movie files from my Hard drive space? What is the best way to do this without losing much quality?

    does the big screen have a 15pin vga connector or what type does it have & does it correspond with the computer videocard connector(s)???

    I'm looking into buying a new TV or home theater with 70-80in projector. Any suggestions? How is the quality on the projectors with TV, movies, games etc.
