Hi there! Just stumbled over your fab site and wondered if you guys could help me? My PC runs on Windows XP2 and I've been learning how to burn DVDs over the last few weeks. Recently though Nero has been spitting out discs halfway through copying, which it's never done before, and my PC also randomly reboots during burning. I've run all the usual AV and malware tests, etc. and my system SEEMS clean so I don't know what the problem is. I just wonder if you guys could take a look at my HijackThis! log just to see if there's anything there that shouldn't be? Here are the results: Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 21:03:39, on 22/03/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16414) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\csrss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\vsmon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\EPSON\EBAPI\eEBSVC.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgamsvr.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgupsvc.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgemc.exe C:\Program Files\Home Cinema\PowerCinema\Kernel\TV\CLCapSvc.exe C:\WINDOWS\SOUNDMAN.EXE C:\Program Files\Home Cinema\PowerCinema\Kernel\CLML_NTService\CLMLServer.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\EPSON\EBAPI\SAgent2.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\VTTimer.exe C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared Files\RichVideo.exe C:\Program Files\Home Cinema\PowerCinema\PCMService.exe C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\sdhelp.exe C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgcc.exe C:\WINDOWS\AGRSMMSG.exe C:\Program Files\Alcohol Soft\Alcohol 120\StarWind\StarWindService.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\UPHClean\uphclean.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\VTtrayp.exe C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\X10\Common\x10nets.exe C:\Program Files\Home Cinema\PowerCinema\Kernel\TV\CLSched.exe C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe C:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exe C:\PROGRA~1\ntl\BROADB~1\SMARTB~1\MotiveSB.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\WMPNSCFG.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\alg.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\swdoctor.exe C:\Program Files\Ahead\NeroVision\NeroVision.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\HijackThis.exe R0 - The Nero forum might have been a better choice, but you problem is not likely a virus. A nero log might be of help. Nero 6 Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt Nero 7 Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt Your system spec might help as well. Is your system runng hot, high CPU useage, etc. This is a great site. I have been here for 4 years and still find something new to learn.
