pc speakers not working: what sound driver do i need? easy but i cant get my hand on it!

    i just recentely switched from verzion dsl to cox high speed..and now my speakers dont work..when i went to device manager, system speakers it says "No drivers are installed for this device"..so im guessing i need to download the drivers being that they worked only a few days ago..what drivers do i need?

    nope that didnt work

    Then you might have disabled your soundcard from bios. Those are the correct drivers for AC97 integrated soundcard.

    ok so how do i ENABLE my soundcard in bios?

    Well you'll have to look for it. It's probably "On-board audio device" or "AC'97" in your bios.
