PC to HDTV

    I bought a monster cable s-video cable to hook up to my 52 inch hitachi hdtv. I connected one end to my s-video out on my video card and the other to the s-video in on my tv. Do I need something else to make this work or do I need to change a setting internally in my pc? Please help.

    Open Control Panel, Display.
    Change the options for your video card's output from computer monitor only, to dual display. Specify TV via S-video as the second display.
