    Hi,

I can watch tv/dvds on my tv fine through my fx5200 card fine, however even after changing fonts and making things larger working with word docs and other appilications are terrible, i know the tv is not designed for this, but was wondering if these pc to tv converter boxes make things better, as some of the mid priced ones have are capable of higer refresh rates and have zoom

    thanks in advance

You'll only get better resolution if you get an HDTV.

You can try changing the text and background color combinations to getter better readability.

Or viewing at 120% or higher helps too.

You don't want to go higher than 60Hz refresh rate or you can ruin your television.

I have the same card and just installed the latest Nvidia drivers, Oct. '04 and it has better TV handling.
