PC to TV problem with edges of screen

    I am using a samsung 72" hdtv, Harmond Kardon avr reciever, and a asus g73jw laptop.

    When I connect my pc to my reciever via HDMI which in turn goes to my tv via HDMI. The edges of the screen are cut off. IE the bottom toolbar is cutoff.

    I have tried going through my tv settings and adjusted all ratios and changed to pc even though i am on a hdmi source input.

    I have tried changing the source settings on the reciever,

    I have tried changing the ratio on the laptop and also I can not select customize ratio. the button isn't active.

    Any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you
