Can someone please help me? I had dvd fab gold free trial installed on my computer and then changed to dvd fab platinum free trial, when i removed that i got the pcouffin.sys pop-up and I need to know what it is and if it will hurt my computer or not. How would I remove it? Some people have told me that it is a virus and other say it comes with dvd fab. Anyone that can help me I would greatly appreciate it. This also pops up when I try to reinstall dvd fab on my computer.

I just installed and uninstalled the dvdfabgold program. It left the pcouffin.sys (47kb) behind exactly as indochine said. Go to the file location he gave you and delete the file.
Like this 1. Click Start Button 2. Click Run 3. copy this into the box del C:\Windows\System32\drivers\pcouffin.sys 4. Click OK Let us know if this works.
a little more info its also located in device mgr under vso devices if installed. it also can be uninstalled there.
