Hello there. I recently picked up a Philips 642 dvd player and so far it has played all my divx dvds back just fine. However with one of my discs I go to play the first file on it and it will play for a second and then skip to the next file for a second and then to the third file and so on until it gets to about the sixth or seventh file on the disc and then it will play it like normal. I have had other discs with multiple files and they all played fine. I was jsut wondering if anyone knew what I can do to get all of the files on the disc to play correctly. If anyone knows something that will help it will be greatly appreciated.
Even I too faced a similar problem with Philips DVP642, but it was with the CD on which I had a avi file. It used to play for 2 secs and then it would skip the contents(Time used to jump....) and go to the end of the file making it unwatchable. Did u face a similar problem with CD (avi file). If so please let me know the solution.
