I wasn't able to find a solution to this problem, so here I am. I have 11 AVIs on a single dvd. It takes ~3.5 GB and all the files are encoded the same (which Quicktime tells me is '3ivx D4 4.0.4 w/ MP3 audio, 48kHz, 16 bits (variable bitrate)) and as far as I can tell they are the same size 512x352, 480x360 or 512x384 pixels (and they play fine). The problem is that not all 11 files show up on the menu in the 642, but they are all play fine on my computer. The 11th file simply does not appear yet is technically identical to file 10. I have another disc that only shows 8 of 11 with the same. Any and all help would be great. Thanks
Just in case anyone was wondering how my problem was going, I seem to have found a solution. http://forums.divx.com/eve/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=782106&f=531101651&m=638105332&r=852100432#852100432 Basically, the name of the file that wasn't showing up was apparently too long and the player didn't like it. I shortened the name and now it works fine. Hope this helps someone else
