PHILIPS DVD-R 72

    Get disc error messages with philips media & most others am using fresh blank dvd+R media should I switch to verbatims?

    My LiteOn recorders like the Verbatim and MIT Sony discs more than any others. What speed rating Philips media are you using? The Philips recorders don't like the higher speed stuff.

    Have you installed the latest firmware? This may help with media compatability.

    BTW, Philips makes crap DVDs.

    The philips dvd+r's are the 2.4X The kind tha most people use for stand alones they worked before ! I did'nt know as much when I bought them ! about their being crappy ! as I do now but thanx anyways! have tried Fuji /taiyo yudens 8x + r's tdk's 4 x +r's they seem to give the disc error with almost anything ! wrote philips waiting for reply ! what is the number of the current software? & can I get it from philips website ? and how do I update it?
