philips dvd+rw 28

    I am having trouble getting this to play or record dvd's, it will read and play and record cd's, what can I do to fix this? my system is running on win xp

    what burning software are you using?

    I have tried Dvd X Copy and Record Now and Nero

    r u using dvd-r or dvd+r
    as i dont think dvd-r can be written with the 228?

    what disks came withe the drive, i also have the 228

    this drive will only write to +r and +rw.
    i use nero express and datawrite disc's and not had one coaster.

    I have a Philips DVD+RW-28 Doest that model record DVD's? DVD R? and DVD RW? I am having the same problem as the original poster. I can record CD R and CD RW's using this DVD BURNER!!, but I put a DVD R and a DVD RW in, and it doesn't read them or something. Can anyone help us?

    Cororubs,,, where did you get your DVD+r/+RW-D28 at.. I got mine off an ebay auction

    I use dvd+r/rw. I use smartripper then use Dvd2one then burn withe nero using dvdvideo mode, since usin this method have not had one bad burn yet. let us know if you need more help

    I got my DVD Burner off of Dell.com with my computer. It was an added option for extra money. Does this Burner Burn DVD R Too?
