Hi, I've recently purchases a Philips 9000 series with NET tv. It is possible to surf the net plus watch some optimised sites like YouTube. This would suggest that there is a built in Flash player on the tv. However when I try to view sites like Justin.tv or p2p4u.net to view live streaming of sports, I just get a blank square where the streaming should be with a message saying plug-in content. Can someone please tell me how I can get this to work as it would be a great if I could get the streaming to work on the tv thanks Niall
hi niallerf, I dont recommend using justin tv or the other site you mention as they seem to pretty poor to access. myp2p.eu would be the best option. just go to the software tab and download sopcast. once this is done you can use myp2p for the channels to access live footie. good channel in there is YES. good luck. mellio
No, thats no good. Thats fine on my pc, but its not possible to install that on the television. Thanks anyway.
I think your missing the point Niallerf, By using sopcast & Tversity together on you PC/ Laptop you can access live TV and stream it on your home network and play music & Video & live streams via your TV / XBOX /Wii or any device on your network
the philips server only allows access to certain sites at the moment so thats why you cant watch the footie throught the net tv, from what i know they plan to add a lot more to the internal server soon, hope that helps
